Ár•farvegur // Stream•bed : Anna Maggý, Kristinn E. Hrafnsson, Vikram Pradhan & Hrafnkell Sigurðsson

The exhibition Stream•bed invites visitors to step into a world where the micro and the macro meet, in time and space of human and earthly life. Millennia and moments converse  and raise questions about man's relationship with the earth he lives on. How do we make the bed we intend to sleep in? The lifespans are different, but we all meet in split seconds where we share our journey. In the various media, the artists explore what it means to share time with our environment, time that is relative and can be viewed as a linear or complex phenomenon that dances around in bends and curves. The years are like a stream that carves a channel in human life and branches through history and generations until we all meet in the ocean of eternity.
