Reflect, shows two shapes in the centre with two pillars behind them. The green one on the right is
transparent, thin, liquidated and vibrant in contrast to the opposing shape, which is thick, solid and
muted, partially blending into the background. The painting suggests duality, a tear materialising
through close encounters, a reflection of contrasts. Smaller bodies, painted with washy oils, swim
horizontally above them and a small rose figure crosses the “leg” of the large green shape. So,
although the interaction of the two large shapes is central in the work, they are a part of a much larger
net and all the shapes are in a constant exchange and influence each other through their actions.
